SOTD: Walk Away
I'm probably the laziest poster of music on this blog even though I discover new tunes that I absolutely love almost daily. Just so you know, music for me is usually more about the tune itself and very little about the lyrics and even less about the visuals. So instead of writing some amazing history or give you a verbal telling of why I love what I love, I won't (at least not most of the time) and from today onwards, I will just give you my Song Of The Day. Woooo happy days!
My song of the day:
Band: Luminaires
Song: Walk Away
Genre: Indie-Electro Pop with a hint of Dub (yes, dubstep!)
Happy Tuesday! Boom!

And so, while browsing around and looking for new music , i saw a photo of a guy and a girl, and thought, what a handsome face and didn't register in my brain who it was.
And the moment i click play on their music and heard his voice, instantly i thought, Matt MacDonald of The Classic Crime!
If you didn't know already, i love Matt MacDonald's voice!
This is his latest project with his wife! So exciting!

Anberlin - Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place
My memory may not stretch too long, but I can't recall other rock bands that came across me before Anberlin that has a way with their words in their songs. Doubling up with their melodies, Anberlin packs a punch! Before I know it, my hands start thumping to the beat of the song. It's nice to be able to still listen to their music as the years pass by. They are one that I will never stop listening to.

Leagues
Remember Tyler Burkum from Audio Adrenaline? Well, this is the latest band that he's in.
I cannot get enough of them...so good. Can't wait for their full length album.
There's some funk, some pop, some rock somewhere in their sound.
Here's 3 of their songs from their first ep.
Make sure you listen closely to all three of these songs.
Leagues is definitely one to look out for.
Love!

Jarle Bernhoft
Rapidly becoming the talk about the town.
Jarle Berhoft - Fly away
(this is just plain sexy)
Jarle Bernhoft - C'mon talk
Very sweet/classy tunes by this guy from Norway
Apart from his solo stuff where he works with
A main looper, 2 guitars, his voice and a couple of pedals and nick nacks..
He is also a pretty good composer.
But his solo work is really what caught my eye(ear??)
Give him a listen (:
