He is also a pretty good composer.

But his solo work is really what caught my eye(ear??)

So yesterday, when my sisters were playing BandHero, they came across this particular song and said, 'Mandy, remember this song? your favourite song?' and I didn't get the tune at first, but when i heard the music and words COULD YOU TAKE MY PICTURE, my eyes went wide open and i was so excited! The last time i heard it was at least 5 years ago, it's crazy! I totally forgot that this awesome song existed.

Recently I've been listening to their particular song, Sleeping Lessons. It's the kind of song where it'll pop into your head as soon as you wake up in the morning. Warning: It might last throughout the day.

Young The Giant

Young The Giant offers a new melody to my rock-filled ears. It gets me rocking sideways rather than head banging. You gotta listen to it to know what I'm talking about. Their music would fit very much if you're going on a road trip, especially along the beach. Moreover, the lead vocalist has a unique voice does not sound like your local radio pop tune. And on top of that, I love the energy the rest of the band conveys doing their musical parts.

The first time i came across georgia fair and listened to the track, 'little while', it just got me.
Their harmonies, their laidback/folk music is very very nice.
